When it comes to rooftop bars, it doesn’t get much better than Smoke & Mirrors. Sitting pretty on the top floor of the National Gallery, the bar has both indoor and outdoor space, which is pretty handy during rainy season. With outdoor fans, one of the main advantages to the outside area is the stunning view across Singapore. If you are serious about your cocktails, this is the bar for you but they also have a pretty full wine list as well as the usual beers etc. Oh, and the bar menu is worth a taste too.
LANTERN BAR AT THE FULLERTON
One of the original and still the best rooftop bars in Singapore is Lantern at The Fullerton Bay Hotel. One of the best places if you can get a spot, to watch the Singapore Grand Prix, the bar has amazing views of the Marina Bay water front and Singapore’s skyline. Another big win for this little venue is the music they put on, favouring local and live bands at weekends.
If you are looking for a post-work drink and you fancy a breath of fresh air, then its 1-Altitude. With views of Marina Bay and the CBD, this handy venue serves up some delicious cocktails.
CE LA VI
Undoubtedly one of Singapore’s finest rooftop bars, Ce La Vi is the place to go if you are looking for a slightly more upscale evening out. With the Sky Deck and the Club Lounge both in Ce La Vi, you can choose a more clubby or chilled end to your evening as well.
One of the main advantages of this handy Marina Bay Financial Centre based bar is that it houses both an indoor and outdoor area – ideal for rainy evenings or blisteringly hot days. Happy hour works before 8pm most nights, with the bar having an elegant selections of beers and house pours on offer.
