Liverpool are on the verge of signing Andrew Robertson after the Hull City defender walked out of training on Monday.
The left-back will cost £8m, with Sky Sports now reporting that a fee has been agreed between the two clubs.
Jurgen Klopp is preparing a squad with enough depth to cope with an increased fixture list next season, with Champions League qualification starting at the same time as the return of the Premier League in mid-August.
Robertson’s signing will put Alberto Moreno’s future in doubt at the club.
